an innovative team workshop

In addition to painting, Hervé has used his business and management background, as well as the many years he spent training staff, in order to develop an innovative and creative workshop using the arts of drawing and painting to bring individuals to work together effectively. The concept taps directly into a part of the brain that may rarely be used in the workplace: the right hemisphere, which plays host to imagination, creativity and intuition.

"ArtWorks" as it is called, is an effective team building workshop, which delivers results of exceptional scope and imagination.

a creative day or real team building?

Team building doesn’t happen naturally: each team is individual and its own needs should be addressed accordingly. When working on its effectiveness, the main focus is the outcome you want to achieve - you may want to improve productivity, motivation, or address a certain issue relating to stress or communication. The bottom line is: you want to achieve a sustainable change in working practices and behaviours. The difference between team "bonding" and "building" is immense: the outcomes are very different:

.......team "bonding" usually focuses on fun (a day-out spent go-karting, an evening out, etc).
........Those tend to bring people together but only delivers improvements in team effectiveness by luck.
........And what you want to achieve shouldn't be left to luck.

.......team "building" is far more constructive because focusing on real team development - delivering
........something of genuine value back in the workplace. It is great for groups of staff who need to
........learn
to work together well - fast! It explores what a team is, how it succeeds, and how to make it
........
happen.

Finally, it is important to note that a proper team session shouldn't involve any competitive excercises. Everyone must collaborate with everyone else. You don't want to send your people away bragging about how they managed to outdo their colleagues - but send them away thinking at least in part how well they worked together.

improve your people' commitment

The exercises and challenges which make out its content, are true platforms for innovation, designed to impact new and existing teams on creativity, communication and motivation. The answer to improve people commitment to their company performance and success.
